Special Programs

Special Programs are usually offered by clubs and usually offer an award when completed. These programs are optional and require a fee. You use the same stamps that you use for your Event and Distance books for those walks that qualify for the special program. The programs shown on this page are available from CVA itself or by CVA affiliated clubs only and may not be national in scope. For national special programs, follow the link in the "Other Resources" box to the right.

In addition to being a great program for individual walkers, the Missions Program provides an opportunity for clubs to get more involved in the history of their community. All clubs in California are encouraged to sanction a walk that includes their local California Mission. For more information, contact Holly Pelking at ilex56@yahoo.com.
